Each day will be a mix of entertaining instruction and tournament play, including variants. Campers will sometimes be combined, and other times will be grouped by skill level. Camp is open to all school grades regardless of level. Experienced Instructors include Master Tony Nichols, Ray Garrison, Sam Curran and Jack Hauptman.
Knowledge Requirement: Each student should know the basic rules of chess. Your child may learn how to play here: https://lichess.org/learn#/
Equipment/Account Requirements: Each student will need their own device and a good internet connection. We also recommend each device have a camera, but this is not a requirement. Each student will need a free account at www.lichess.org.
